The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and warm, and the food was simply breathtaking. We tried a wide variety of dishes, and every single one was delicious. The service was excellent from start to finish. The best stuffed vine leaves I had ever had! If you know what does homemade Dolmades taste like, this is the one. This dish from the restaurant is very special 🌟

Very good family restaurant. The food is extremely tasty and the prices are low. The service is simply impeccable, very friendly and attentive staff. The owner of the restaurant himself appoint attention to the visitors. We spent three days in Nafplio and enjoyed the food only here.

Stumbled upon this place and we left full and happy. The Greek salad was large and fantastic with excellent flavor. The Red Merlot wine paired with the tzatziki and pork souvlaki were phenomenal. The staff was always happy to serve with a smile.

Stumbled upon Nafplio and Alaloum 7 years ago with our kids in a coldish February. They were in a different location. Couldn’t get over the grilled feta, the attention and the live music. Came back tonight, to a nice location with the same excellent service and delicious food. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Excellent and delicious food, quickly served, the staff is polite and helpful. Definitely recommend tzatziki and hallaoumi cheeee. The restroom is spotless clean.

If you get a chance to meet the owner like I did, you have to have him explain the meaning of the name of the restaurant, it’s priceless just like the food amazing, great service as well

I have been to nafplio many many times and this is the only place I spend my money on tavern food. Not for souvlakia!
Waiters and staff are helpful and polite and are just great people. Tip them! They deserve it. Opened a few new locations since 2 years ago and every stop is same quality!
100% repetition and I am Greek : DExcellent traditional Greek food with a little twist. Plentiful plates and a very accommodating service. Nice discovery....
A great tavern with traditional Greek food. Our kids LOVED all the dishes and they asked if we can eat there again next time we are in Nafplio. The price per person was 13eu! We couldn't believe it. The portions are huge and despite a very busy hour, the service was impeccable!

It was plenty large enough for the 4 of us to share. My Greek Seafood Orzo was amazing. At least 10 mussels, 6 shrimp and an oyster were spread atop a huge platter of perfectly seasoned orzo. Two others thoroughly enjoyed their tender and juicy steaks, while the third devoured her lamb chops. The wine we chose was great, and the service friendly and attentive. Nice outdoor location near the port. The staff were friendly. We split the eggplant salad followed by pork knuckle with mustard sauce and fried potatoes, and roasted bream with cabbage salad. Everything was delicious. They also gave us some free watermelon to have with our coffee.
